The  CRAzies Annual Awards Gala hosted by the Connecticut Restaurant Association nominations have opened to the public. The annual industry statewide event celebrates and recognizes the best of the best in the restaurant and food service industry across all of Connecticut. CRA invites the public to nominate their favorites in the categories of Chef of the Year, Baker if the Year, Caterer of the Year, Server of the Year, Bartender of the Year, Vendor of the Year, Restaurant Newcomer, Restaurant of the Year North, South, East, West, Hospitality Hall of Fame and People’s Choice among them. Nominations submission period closes at midnight on Sept. 18, one submission per person. The awards gala, now in its fifth year under its new name, will be held Dec. 4 and Foxwoods Resort Casino.
