Del Maguey Vida de Muertos Debuts

By August 2, 2021Rhode Island, Top News

Del Maguey Vida de Muertos is produced in Oaxaca’s San Luis del Rio by palenqueros Paciano Cruz Nolasco and Marcos Cruz Mendez. Each batch of Vida de Muertos is a limited center cut of the distillate that is hand-selected.

Mancini Beverage – Rhode Island Distributing division welcomed Del Maguey Vida de Muertos to its portfolio of mezcals from the renowned brand. Founded in 1995, Del Maguey Single Village Mezcal introduced the world to previously unavailable artisanal mezcal. Vida de Muertos is a special 45% ABV edition of Vida inspired by the batches of mezcal that are distilled in autumn by the family of Paciano Cruz Nolasco and shared for the celebration of Día de los Muertos. The limited production of this expression honors the occasion for which it is named. Traditionally handcrafted from 100% mature agave Espadín, it can be sipped and savored or offer an elegant profile in a cocktail. Vida de Muertos has an aromatic nose of tropical fruit and hints of warming spice; a creamy texture with floral notes, green herbs and poblano peppers; with a long, complex finish.
