United States Bartender’s Guild Connecticut chapter member Anthony DeSerio has joined WNPR’s Faith Middleton’s “The Food Schmooze®” radio program as a regular contributor. The cocktail segment, in which DeSerio joins Middleton to mix on air, broadcasts every Wednesday. His segments include cocktail creations such as “Anthony’s Ginger Beer Pina Colada” and “The Mellini,” as well as informing listeners about various cocktail ingredients, spirit types and history, and trends. DeSerio will also serve as a judge at the upcoming annual Faith Middleton Food Schmooze® Martini Madness event on June 25. The event has officially filed an application with the Guinness World Records organization to earn the title of The World’s Largest Martini Competition.
