The Distilled Spirits Council (DISCUS) elected Ugo Fiorenzo, Managing Director, Campari America, as Chair during its summer Board of Directors meeting at the DISCUS Annual Conference in New Orleans. Fiorenzo succeeds Clarkson Hine, Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs, Beam Suntory, who has chaired the Council since July 2020. The Board also appointed a new Vice Chair, Ann Mukherjee, Chairman and CEO, Pernod Ricard North America. During the meeting, the Board also re-elected DISCUS’ Chief Financial Officer Adrian Baxter as Treasurer and DISCUS’ Chief Legal Officer Courtney Armour to serve as the Board’s Corporate Secretary. The new board appointments took effect July 1. DISCUS also added Andy Deloney as the association’s Vice President of State Public Policy. He will focus on government relations activities in most of the control states.
