Fine Terroir Celebrates Ixsir Wine Win

Ixsir wines reflect the region’s 5,000-plus years of making wines from the ancient soils with modern and sustainable techniques.

Founded in 2008, the winery’s name is derived from the Arabic word for “elixir.”

Terroir Selections in Connecticut celebrated Lebanon-based winery Ixsir and its recent accolade of being included in the Robert Parker Wine Advocate 2020 Top 100 Discoveries list. Ixsir El Red 2011 was selected as the only Lebanese wine among the mentions. Founded in 2008, the winery’s name is derived from the Arabic word for “elixir” and its wines reflect the region’s 5,000-plus years of making wines from the ancient soils with modern and sustainable techniques. Ixsir El White, Ixsir El Red, Ixsir Grande Reserve Red, Ixsir Altitudes Blanc and Ixsir Altitudes Rouge are Connecticut offerings.
