A trove of top flair bartenders from the Northern U.S. and Canada gathered at Twin River Resort Casino Hotel’s “Miracle” bar to participate in a charity flair bartending showcase on December 11. Dressed in ugly sweater holiday attire, a regional roster of bartenders exhibited their skills at The Flair Festivus “The Airing of the Bottles,” sponsored by Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The lineup of talent included Kate Fischer of Toronto, Ontario; Alison Christian of Massachusetts; Brian Brubaker of Michigan; Jesse Perez of Michigan; Anthony Pangayao Cadawas of New York; Ram Ong of New York; Will Sexton of New York; Andrew Gentle of Pennsylvania; Stephen Pacacha of Pennsylvania; Anthony Guaetta of Rhode Island; Bruce Livingston of Rhode Island; and Adam “Opie” Oppenheimer of Rhode Island, who organized the event. Proceeds from the event benefited the Providence Marine Toys for Tots foundation, with Tito’s also donating $1,000 to the charity.
