Freixenet Mionetto USA (FXMUSA) hosted several consumer-centric brand activations in Connecticut for both Freixenet, a leading producer of D.O. Cava created in the traditional method, and Segura Viudas, one of the most awarded cava brands globally. In August, FXMUSA kicked off the first Merch Day, where, for one full day, its entire sales team dedicated themselves to merchandising Freixenet at retail all over the country. More than 450 stores were merchandised with the Freixenet Freixenaid recipe, including BevMax in Norwalk. Freixenet completed the national merchandising blitz in late August promoting the mixability of the cava, distributed in Connecticut by Eder Bros. and Allan S. Goodman. Additionally, Segura Viudas celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month, inviting chefs to unite via unique stories, traditions and food in celebration through a campaign called the Shared Table. FXMUSA was a featured underwriter for WPKN 89.5FM community radio broadcasting from Bijou Square in Bridgeport, showcasing Segura Viudas, which is distributed statewide through Slocum & Sons, celebrating the acclaimed Spanish cava brand with a message focusing on sustainability.
