Grey Sail Brews Featured During Pairing Dinners

By April 28, 2022Rhode Island, Top News

Grey Sail Brewing of Westerly was showcased at two beer pairing dinners during the month of March: at the Coast Guard House in Narragansett on March 11 as part of Rhode Island Craft Beer Week, and at Hotel Viking in Newport on March 25. At the first dinner, guests were treated to a four-course meal with dessert prepared by the culinary team at the Coast Guard House. Each course was paired with a Grey Sail beer: Canal Street Kolsch, Haze Ho, 1926 Blonde Ale, Dave’s Coffee Stout and Flying Jenny. At Hotel Viking, Chef Patrick Popores and his team created a four-course menu complementing Grey Sail Brewing’s 1926 Blonde Ale, Little Sister, Captain’s Daughter and Dave’s Coffee Stout. Created to pay homage to Westerly’s United Theatre, which was built in 1926, Grey Sail’s 1926 Blonde Ale was highlighted by Hotel Viking in a signature event cocktail, honoring the hotel’s own inception, which was also in 1926. The Grey Sail Brewing line is distributed in the state by McLaughlin & Moran.
