The ninth annual Greenwich Wine + Food Festival at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park in Greenwich welcomed thousands on September 20-21. The multiday event began with an Opening Night Master Chef Wine Gala on September 20. On September 21, a celebrity chef event featured cooking demonstrations from David Rose, Geoffrey Zakarian, Marc Murphy, David Burtka, Mary Giuliani and Christian Petroni. Guests enjoyed tastings from more than 150 local food, wine and spirits vendors under the Grand Tasting tent. Sommeliers, mixologists and brewmasters also gave presentations. Area mixologists competed in the sixth annual Top Bartender Showdown bartending competition presented by Ketel One. The event closed with a musical performance by Little Big Town. Proceeds from the event, hosted by Serendipity, benefited Food Rescue US and the Town of Greenwich Parks & Recreation Foundation.
