Maryland’s Lyon Distilling Company is entering the Connecticut market via distributor Highland Imports. The expansion will bring Lyon’s portfolio of rums and ultra small-batch corn, malt and rye whiskies to a total of four markets, including the distillery’s home state and Washington, D.C. Lyon Distilling Company is a micro distillery located in Saint Michaels, Maryland, steps from the Chesapeake Bay. Founded in 2012 by Ben Lyon and Jaime Windon, the distillery launched in 2013 with a signature line of rums “paying tribute to the rich, spirited traditions of the Eastern Shore.”
