
Newport Live Events, in collaboration with Litchfield Distillery and Papa’s Pilar Rum, hosted a Holiday Cheers Benefit at Newport’s Bar 12 on Dec. 23. During the Night Before the Night Before Christmas holiday party, guests enjoyed festive cocktails created by Bar 12’s John Begin, Head Bartender, and Eileen Silvia, Manager, paired with a three-course menu prepared by Chef John Baldaia. More holiday fun was had with gifts handed out by Santa, bottle raffles, cocktail trivia with prizes and a Newport History of Cocktails lesson led by Begin. Proceeds benefited Lucy’s Hearth homeless shelter.
