Litchfield Distillery commemorated its 10th year in business on Dec. 17. While it was a normal workday for brothers and Co-owners David, Peter and Jack Baker, they toasted the milestone with the brand’s Founders’ Reserve 10th Anniversary Bourbon Whiskey and thanked the many people across Connecticut who help to market and distribute their award-winning spirits. “Today marks our tenth anniversary and we’re filled with gratitude and appreciation for all of you,” the Bakers said in a statement. “It’s taken a lot of sweat and toil to build the brand to where it is today. We’re fortunate to have an incredible team of employees and brand ambassadors … Surrounding them are our amazing distributors, talented service providers, and, of course, the hard-working farmers who grow and harvest the Connecticut-grown grain and fruit that are the building blocks of our spirits. We can’t forget all the local businesses that we collaborate with to craft the specialty items we sell out of our distillery store. Last, but not least, a huge shoutout to all the retail stores, bars and restaurants that choose to carry us.” Litchfield Distillery’s award-winning spirits include several bourbon whiskeys, flavored bourbons, rye whiskey, vodkas, gins, agave spirits and ready-to-drink canned and bottled cocktails. The team appeared on a “Great Day Connecticut” segment as part of its commemorative activities. Litchfield Distillery spirits are available across Connecticut via Slocum & Sons.
