
The tenth annual Litchfield Hills Brewfest took place at Ski Sundown in New Hartford on Aug. 28. Local breweries poured beer tastes, along with wine, spirits, cider, RTDs and hard seltzer brands. Festival goers enjoyed food from Cousin’s Maine Lobster, Hot Zs Burgerz, Dogz & Grilled Creationz, Pizzeria Marzano, Taco Shack and Tots Brats & Hots, along with their brews. The Steve Dunn Band provided live music throughout the afternoon event, which benefited St. Maron Church in Torrington; Brooker Memorial, a non-profit providing child care and early learning programs in the Torrington area; and STRIDE Adaptive Sports, a non-profit giving sports and recreation education to people with disabilities.
