Waterbury’s Connecticut Distilling and its operating company, CoreBev Group, co-hosted a Christmas fundraiser with local R&B musician Ben Righter for Make-A-Wish Connecticut on Dec. 15. Guests enjoyed shopping from local vendors and raffle prizes with a special performance by Righter, who performed his new song, “Christmas Card,” and led the party in caroling. The spirits line uses repurposed beer from local breweries to create its flagship spirits: Charred, Drops, Fort Hill Bourbon Whiskey, Waterville Vodka and Blueberry Fields Blueberry Flavored Rum, with each showcased in festive event cocktails. All proceeds benefited Make-A-Wish Connecticut, a nonprofit dedicated to granting holiday wishes for children and families facing terminal illnesses. All of Connecticut Distilling’s spirits are available via Connecticut Distributors, Inc.
