Barrington’s Grapes & Grains showcased selections on Oct. 4 from distributor Mancini Beverage during a weekly in-store tasting. Jared Iannelli of Mancini Beverage – Martignetti division featured California’s Decoy Limited Alexander Valley Merlot and Rabble Paso Robles Red Blend. Rhode Island’s Sakonnet Vineyard wines and canned selections were poured for shoppers in support of the Little Compton-based brand’s recent relaunch under new vineyard management. Founded in 1975, Sakonnet Vineyard rests on 150 acres of land, 30 of which have produced its award-winning wines for more than four decades. In spirits, Iannelli poured Bean from Massachusetts-based GlenPharmer Distillery of Franklin, a vodka infused with locally made espresso and vanilla, making for mix-ready espresso martinis among suggestions.
