Marlborough Tavern Hosts Sazerac Industry Night

Marlborough Tavern hosted a Sazerac Industry Night and Iron Bartender cocktail competition on June 4. Guests enjoyed cocktails featuring spirits from the Sazerac portfolio, while bartenders competed for prizes using Sazerac spirits including Buffalo Trace Bourbon as the base, with a surprise table of ingredients unveiled at the start. Bartenders competed in teams with Alfie Gonzalez and Dylan Jefferis of Brinx Kitchen & Bar coming in at first place, Jason McClellan of Porrón & Piña and Jenna Geysen of Zohara Mediterranean Kitchen taking home second place and Mary Quinn of The Cook & The Bear and Amanda Collins of Bistro on Main placing third. The competition judges were Andrew Welna, Sales Representative, Mancini Beverage-Northeast Beverage Corp. of CT; Andrew Hoenig, Trade Development Manager, Mancini Beverage-Northeast Beverage Corp. of CT; and Justin Morales, General Manager, Marlborough Tavern.
