In time for the holidays, MD&S Distributors of Stratford welcomed a new portfolio addition, Coquito Trigo. The coconut cream-based liqueur is a traditionally served seasonal sipper from Puerto Rico. It is made with one-year-old island-distilled rum, coconut milk, sweet condensed milk, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. The drink is commonly associated with the Christmas holidays, much like eggnog, where it is served along with other holiday foods. As its popularity has grown, it can be enjoyed year-round. The liqueur is 12% ABV/24 proof and is sold in 750-ml bottles. MD&S also celebrated its Philippines-based portfolio selection, Emperador Brandy, recognized as a global best-selling brandy based on annual sales to the tune of 275 million liters.
