Berta de Pablos-Barbier was appointed new CEO of Moët & Chandon, Dom Pérignon and Mercier, effective Jan. 1, 2021. De Pablos-Barbier joins with more than 25 years of international experience in luxury and fast-moving consumer goods. She succeeds Stéphane Baschiera, who, after a successful 24-year career at Moët Hennessy, will retire at the end of January to focus on personal projects. The announcement was made Nov. 5, 2020. De Pablos-Barbier will also serve as a member of Moët Hennessy’s Executive Committee. She had served as International Vice-President of Marketing and Communication at Boucheron until 2011, then Executive Vice-President of Marketing at Lacoste until 2012 and finally President of Mars Wrigley Confectionery U.S. leading up to her appointment to the luxury goods company.
