By December 30, 2021Connecticut, Top News

Two new wines join Murphy Distributors, each from classic Italian wine-producing regions. First, from Domìni Veneti’s series of crafted Valpolicella dry red wines: Domìni Veneti Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Classico, Domìni Veneti Amarone Jago Valpolicella DOCG Classico, Appassimento Rosso Veneto IGT Passito, Valpolicella Ripasso La Casetta DOC Classico Superiore, Valpolicella Ripasso DOC Classico Superiore Torbae and Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore Verjago. Domìni Veneti creates quality wines of the Valpolicella Classica and Veronese areas, with native vines Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, Dindarella, Oseleta, Rossignola, Negrara and Forselina, cultivated from a deep respect for the land and traditional production techniques. Second, from Fruili, comes three wines from producer Matteo Bradiot: Pinot Grigio DOC Friuli 2020, Sauvignon Blanc DOC Friuli 2020 and Pinot Nero DOC Friuli 2020. Since 1870, the Braidot family has dedicated themselves to farming and viticulture. The 247-acre estate uses 80 for its vineyards and 20 are fitted for sowing, wood and vegetable produce. Its wine cellar is located in Versa di Romana d’Isonzo, where Winemaker Mitja Juvetič oversees production stages from vineyard to bottled product.
