On October 3, 2015, Twin River Casino in Lincoln hosted the second annual New England Whiskey Festival. A portion of the ticket proceeds for this event benefitted the Rhode Island Hospitality Association Education Foundation. The event hosted 1,300 trade and consumer guests for a sampling of food, entertainment, seminars and spirits.

Twin River Casino donated $2,500 to the foundation, whose mission is to “develop, support and promote career growth opportunities within the hospitality industry to benefit students, organizations and the economy.” They achieve this through working with youth, unemployed adults and hospitality industry workers with a focus on providing work-readiness training and offering occupational skills training.
