New Haven venues celebrated the holiday season with festive rooftop displays during the 2019 holiday season. Elm City Social unveiled its Winter Ski Lodge on its rooftop on November 29. Guests had the opportunity to enjoy specialty craft cocktails and food in one of three heated rooftop igloos. New Haven’s High George presented guests with a winter ski lodge experience, complete with garlands and white lights, with its Winter Garden. Amid the winter décor, the rooftop bar featured specialty seasonal cocktails such as the Spiked Lodge Hot Chocolate and the Grand Central Cider, along with menu items including Authentic Melted Raclette and Dark Chocolate Fondue.

- High George’s The Free Rider cocktail, a blend of Angostura White Oak Rum, Meletti Amaro, spiced pumpkin puree and lemon, topped with vanilla whip and almond crumble.

- High George seasonal offerings included The Hot Toddy Infuser Pot with citrus, spices, tea, honey and the customer’s choice of spirit: Old Henry Clay Rye, Four Roses Bourbon, Angostura 5 Year Rum or Maison Rouge VS Cognac.
