
Brescome Barton hosted a trade tasting highlighting the wines of Napa Valley’s Nickel & Nickel and Far Niente Winery at Il Gabbiano in New Haven on Sept. 30. Emily Cipollone, Northeast District Manager and Master Educator, Far Niente Winery, was on-site to pour selections and educate guests. During the afternoon, guests tasted wines from Nickel & Nickel, Far Niente and other wineries owned by the Nickel family, including EnRoute, Post & Beam and Bella Union. Founded by the Far Niente Winery partners in 1996 in Oakville, California, Nickel & Nickel is known for producing single-vineyard, 100% varietal wines with grapes grown in the most coveted appellations in Napa Valley.
