Small bites were provided by Oak Haven’s kitchen team. A collaboration between Blackened Whiskey’s Master Distiller and Blender Rob Dietrich and Willett’s Master Distiller Drew Kulsveen, Blackened x Willett is aged in Willett high rye and low rye whiskey barrels and then finished in Madeira casks for 14 weeks while Metallica’s music is played nearby at low hertz frequencies, using the company’s patented Black Noise process. Founded in 1936, the award-winning Bardstown, Kentucky-based Willett Distillery produces more than 15 sought-after whiskey brands, including Michter’s, Old Pogue and Johnny Drum.
