Ocean State Waves Brew Tour Returns

The Ocean State Waves Brew Tour, an annual brew fest and fundraiser celebrating local craft beer, fine wines and Rhode Island cuisine, took place at The Towers in Narragansett on Jan. 21. Guests enjoyed beverages from Whalers Brewing Company, Greenvale Vineyards, Grey Sail Brewing, Shaidzon Beer Company, George’s of Galilee, Tapped Apple Winery, Newport Craft, Narragansett Brewery, Revival Brewing Co. and Foolproof Brewing Company, with food from Rhode Island eateries Filippou’s Twisted Pizza, Arturo Joe’s, Breachway Grill, Vittorias NY Style Pizza, TwoTenOyster Bar and PHIL’s Main Street Grille. In its fifth year, the event was presented by Mixx 99.3, the official radio partner of the Ocean State Waves. Proceeds from the event benefited the Ocean State Waves, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and member of the New England College Baseball League. The organization’s goal is to give college baseball players a chance to develop and showcase their athletic skills during games for the community to enjoy at Old Mountain Field in Wakefield.
