Oceanstate Wine & Spirits added Urban Riesling to its wine portfolio this summer, a wine brand crafted along the steep vineyards of the Mosel region in Germany. Directed by Nik Weis of the renowned Weingut St. Urbans-Hof, a third-generation winemaker, the single-varietal wine offers an excellent example of the terroir-driven wines that the iconic region is known for and the most important winemaking region in Germany. Named after the patron saint of winemaking, St. Urban, Urban Riesling offers a high-quality Riesling at an accessible price point. Urban tasting notes highlight a complex, smoky and floral nose, a juicy, fruity elegant mouthfeel and a minerality that finishes off-dry and crisp.
