WHAT: The annual Greenwich Wine + Food Festival is a multi-day event highlighting the national, international and local food and beverage industry and featuring demos from multiple celebrity chefs. After a three-year hiatus, this year’s 10th-annual festival kicks off with The Big Easy, a celebration of the flavors and music of New Orleans, at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York on Oct. 1, 2022. The dine-around event will feature acclaimed chefs serving up signature dishes, paired with the iconic cocktails of Bourbon Street, such as Hurricanes and Mudslides, local craft beer and wine. Guests will also experience live music paying homage to the culture of New Orleans, by artists to be announced soon. The 2022 class of Serendipity’s Most Innovative Chefs will also be honored: Steven Chen, MIKU, Greenwich; Will Friedman, The Whelk, Westport; Jared Sippel, L’Ostal, Darien; and Renee Touponce, Oyster Club, Mystic. A portion of the proceeds from the 2022 Greenwich Wine + Food Festival will benefit non-profits The Jacques Pépin Foundation and Wholesome Wave. Premium sponsors include Wagoneer, Compass and Greenwich Hospital. Additional events will be announced soon.
