One True Zin, a 100% Primitivo (Zinfandel), is a 14% ABV import from Puglia, Italy, that honors Opici Wines Founder Hubert Opici.

Opici Family Distributing of Connecticut added One True Zin, from Opici Wines, to its portfolio. A 100% Primitivo (Zinfandel) from the Puglia IGT appellate, the wine is made with organically grown grapes. One True Zin is a tribute to Hubert Opici, the patriarch of the Opici family and a wine industry icon. His love for food and wine was infectious and his appreciation for Californian and Italian winemaking built an empire. A bold wine with intense purple color, One True Zin has a very solid structure with a balance between soft tannins and bright acidity. On the palate, the wine shows notes of plum, cherry, marmalade and some tobacco. Spice comes through on the finish with an aftertaste of cocoa, coffee and vanilla, great for pairing with roasted and grilled meats, game dishes and mature hard cheeses.
