The University Club of Providence hosted a wine-pairing dinner featuring the wines of Rombauer Vineyards on March 9. Hosted by special guest Andrew Holloway, Associate Winemaker, Rombauer Wines, the menu featured fine cuisine from Executive Chef Gary Comella paired with Rombauer wine selections chosen by The University Club’s Kate Miceli, Beverage Manager and Sommelier. Guests tasted Rombauer Vineyards Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carneros Chardonnay, Joy Late Harvest Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Since 1980, Rombauer Vineyards has produced award-winning wines, including its Carneros Chardonnay, Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc, Napa Valley Merlot, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Diamond Selection Cabernet Sauvignon and Rombauer Zinfandel.
