
Italian producer Fernando Pighin & Figli, known for Pinot Grigio from Friuli, has launched its first Sauvignon Blanc in the U.S. with the 2011 vintage. Sauvignon Blanc fruit is hand harvested and pressed in state-of-the-art pneumatic presses and the wine is produced without malolactic fermentation or oak contact. True varietal character comes through, with full flavor and length.
