New York’s Hudson Whiskey named spirits specialist and bartender David Powell as its brand ambassador. A well-known voice in the spirits community, Powell will educate trade professionals and consumers on Hudson Whiskey’s craft spirits line. Powell was a part of Hudson Whiskey’s parent company, William Grant & Sons, since 2015, where he worked on the Multicultural Portfolio Associate Program before becoming ambassador of Flor de Caña rums. Currently residing in New York City, Powell’s hospitality career began in 2011 when he joined the staff of Death & Co. as a barback, before working his way up through Manhattan venues such as Pearl & Ash, Red Rooster, The Bennett and The Raines Law Room.
