The Providence Preservation Society hosted its annual Winter Bash at Bucklin Plaza in Providence on February 29. More than 600 guests attended the Studio 54-themed celebration, which raised over $37,000 to support historic preservation advocacy and education in Providence. Co-chairs Dennis DelSignore and Paul Carpentier designed the event’s 1970s-era nightclub theme, complete with mirror balls, crystal chandeliers and a dance cage. The event was sponsored by MG Commercial, Bank RI and Bank of America, with beverage sponsors including McLaughlin & Moran, Inc., Bottles Fine Wine, Mancini Beverage and KEEL Vodka. Guests enjoyed eats by local restaurants and food vendors, including Bites, Circe Restaurant & Bar, Knead Doughnuts, Layali Restaurant Bar, Luxe Burger Bar and Pizzico Oyster Bar.
