Stage Nightclub in Boston hosted regional bartenders from Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts for the “Espolón COCKtail Fights” competition on October 6. The teams competed in multiple rounds using Espolón Tequila with technical judging advancing each round. Bartender Vito Lantz of The Dorrance took home the belt. The lively event featured bartenders working the cocktails and the crowd – complete with costumes and ringside bell, in keeping with the fight theme. Inspired by the works of classic Mexican artist José Guadalupe Posada and the rooster, also a symbol of Mexican national pride, caps the brand’s iconic look. Handcrafted with 100% Weber Blue Agave, the premium tequilas are distilled in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico, and made at the artisan San Nicolas Distillery under the guidance of Master Distiller Cirilo Oropeza.
