Puncher’s Chance Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is inspired by the 1950s and ’60s golden era of boxing, with the tiger representing victory. Its new private barrel program is available via Murphy Distributors.

Murphy Distributors of Branford is offering Connecticut accounts a new private barrel program through Puncher’s Chance Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Crafted by Kevin Curtis, a 24-year veteran of bourbon whiskey making, Puncher’s Chance first offered its Puncher’s Chance 90 Proof, a marriage of 4-, 5- and 6-year-old bourbons offering a caramel, spicy, slightly sweet, vanilla flavor nose and palate, with a long finish and maple and sugar end notes. Puncher’s Chance is inspired by the 1950s and ’60s golden era of boxing, with the tiger representing victory. The barrel program allows for the selection of a highly personalized crafted and labeled bourbon whiskey. Matthew Murphy, President of Murphy Distributors, said, “This is a great opportunity for accounts to purchase a single private barrel with their name on it, for the likes will never and can never be replicated in flavor or taste … unique to the account, exclusively.”
