The Rhode Island Brew Fest, an annual celebration of American craft beer hosted by the Rhode Island Brewers Guild, took place at the WaterFire Arts Center in Providence on Feb. 5. During two sold-out sessions, produced by Gray Matter Marketing, guests tasted more than 200 styles of beer from a mix of 50 Rhode Island and New England-based breweries. Selections were paired with eats from local vendors, including Bespoke Bacon, Major Flavor Seasonings and Rou Catering & Events. A portion of every ticket sold benefited the Rhode Island Brewers Guild, a nonprofit founded in 2013 whose goal is to support and promote the state’s craft breweries.
