Staff and Board Members of the RI Hospitality Association (RIHA) traveled to Washington, D.C. for the National Restaurant Association’s 2014 Public Affairs Conference in April. More than 700 representatives from state restaurant associations across the country attended to network,
and learn about issues affecting the industry. RIHA representatives had the opportunity to meet with Rhode Island officials, including, Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse and Representatives David Cicilline and Jim Langevin, to discuss current legislation and its effect on the hospitality industry both locally and nationally.
