The Rhode Island Hospitality Association (RIHA) opened up its nominations for the 2021 Stars of the Industry Awards Gala, after a 2020 hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. With a goal to identify outstanding members of the hospitality industry who have demonstrated professionalism in performing their jobs and have contributed to the positive image of the hospitality industry in Rhode Island, the application must be completed either by the nominator or the nominee to assist in the evaluation of candidates for the Stars of the Industry Awards. In addition, nominees are required to submit a letter of recommendation from their employer or a professional colleague. Award winners will be honored at the RIHA and its Education Foundation Annual Meeting on Dec. 1, 2021, at the Twin River Event Center. The deadline to apply is Monday, August 23.
