The 10th annual Rising Pint Brewfest took place at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field in East Hartford on June 12. Craft beer from more than 50 local breweries was on tap for guests, along with eats from popular food truck vendors, including Crispy Melty By Caseus, Scatz Holy Smokez BBQ, Hop Häus, Randy’s Wooster St. Pizza Shop, Big Enzo’s BBQ, Plan B Burger Bar and The Whey Station. Bands BooYah and Live Bait played live during the event’s two sessions. A portion of the event proceeds benefited The REACH Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to providing assistance to children who are in need – physically, socially and financially – through programs, advocacy and more.
