The Comité Champagne named Lori Russo as the Director of the Champagne Bureau, USA. Russo’s tenure as Director will begin on Jan. 1, 2024. As Director of the Champagne Bureau, USA, Russo will represent the interests of some 16,200 growers, 130 cooperatives and 370 Champagne houses within the United States. Her team’s efforts will include engaging the media, trade professionals, importers, distributors, policymakers and wine lovers across the country. Russo joins seven other Bureau Directors around the globe who all serve as official Champagne representatives for their respective countries. She joins the brand from her role as President of Stanton Communications, a Washington, D.C.-based strategic communications firm, a longtime member of the National Press Club and a founding member of the women’s executive networking group Chief.
