The annual Vegtoberfest, a festival showcasing plant-based cuisine and beverages, returned to Trinity Beer Garden in Providence’s Biltmore Park on Sept. 24. Sponsored by Bootstrap Compost, Trinity Brewhouse, World Centric, Trinity Beer Garden and Sam’s Solutions, the event celebrated the vegan lifestyle by offering a variety of vegetarian, vegan and sustainable foods from more than 20 local venues, as well as shopping from a festival marketplace of vegan artists, makers and food producers. Guests enjoyed beer selections from Narragansett Beer, Trinity Brewhouse, Moniker Brewery and Proclamation Ale Company, with spirits and craft cocktails from Bully Boy Distillers, including the brand’s Boston Rum and The Manhattan ready-to-drink bottled cocktail line.
