Sailor Jerry Rum and The Stomping Ground welcomed a new business to Putnam, The Red Spider Tattoo Shop owned by Bob Lindell, on November 15, 2014. Sailor Jerry tattoos from Red Spider and Sailor Jerry cocktails were showcased, as was Sailor Jerry’s visiting National Brand Ambassador Paul Monahan. The Stomping Ground, owned by Terry and Sara Paquette, is a restaurant, bar and live performance venue focusing on fresh made meals, micro and craft beer, and fresh house signature cocktails. Stomping Ground bartenders Neal Lyon, Iva Wade, Patrick Navarro and Jim Lalumiere created six special Sailor Jerry cocktails for the event.

- Neal Lyon behind the bar. One of his creations from the night, “Autumn Sails” is made with 2 oz. Sailor Jerry 92 proof spiced rum; 1 oz. homemade cranberry syrup, lightly sweetened; 1/2 oz. local honey syrup; 1/4 oz. fresh squeezed lime, dash of fresh hand-grated nutmeg. Dry shaken, without ice. Serve over ice, in a snifter or rocks glass.
