By March 2, 2021Connecticut, Top News

South Island, New Zealand’s Seaside Cellars joins Tri-Vin Imports’ Connecticut portfolio. Seaside Cellars Sauvignon Blanc, Seaside Cellars Rosé canned and Seaside Cellars Rosé Brut showcase varietals from its vineyards situated close to the sea. Its geographical location allows the grapes to have optimum grape-growing conditions, resulting in a new series of wines with lots of freshness and fruitiness. From Portugal comes Colossal Reserva, an award-winning red wine made by one of Portugal’s top young winemakers, Diogo Sepúlveda; the wine is produced by family-owned winery Casa Santos Lima. Also from Portugal is Paxis “Bulldog” Red Blend, made by winemaker José Neiva Correia from DFJ Vinhos in the Lisboa region and offering a unique blend of 34% Touriga Nacional, 33% Touriga Franca and 33% Tinta Roriz. From Spain comes Fuerza Jumilla, a red wine of Cabernet Sauvignon and Mourvedre produced by the winery Ego Bodegas. From Tuscany, Italy, hails Fontella Chianti DOCG, a ruby red, medium-bodied traditional Sangiovese and Canaiolo wine.
