In March, the Brown-Forman team welcomed whiskey expert and Slane Irish Whiskey Brand Ambassador Rebecca Gardiner to the state ahead of St. Patrick’s Day, who spent time educating accounts across Connecticut. Matured in virgin oak casks, seasoned whiskey casks and Oloroso sherry casks, Slane Irish Whiskey blends grain and malt whiskeys and the distinctive flavors of the three casks together. With notes of vanilla, banana, butterscotch, dried stone fruits and baking spice, the subtle layers of the whiskey’s complex character are revealed. Located in historic Boyne Valley and housed within the 250-year-old stables of the iconic Slane Castle Estate, the distillery offers its award-winning tastes and tours. Gardiner met with bar and retail teams, as well as guests. Stops included Inishmore Pub in Colchester and Valley Fine Wine Super Liquors in Simsbury.
