Four Roses Bourbon hosted a team from Slocum & Sons in September for a distillery visit. Regional Manager Christophe Dumoulin and Sales Representatives Alycia Sandmeier and John Tsipouras visited the bourbon producer for a tour of the newly expanded distillery and bottling plant in Bardstown. The trip included a seminar by Master Distiller Brent Elliot and Senior Brand Ambassador Al Young, a visit to Churchill Downs in Louisville, as well as the opportunity to attend The Great Kentucky Bourbon Tasting & Gala, which featured offerings from Kentucky’s 11 major bourbon distilleries. Sandmeier said, “For me personally, this trip further solidified how proud I am to represent Four Roses. The momentum behind the brand is like no other bourbon in the market. The product is thoughtful, inspired and boasts the highest quality for value. At the gala, it was wonderful to see more people in line to taste Four Roses than any other distillery, and it was an honor to be rubbing elbows with true bourbon royalty.” Four Roses combines five proprietary yeast strains with two separate mash bills to handcraft 10 distinct bourbon recipes, each with its own unique character, spiciness and rich fruity flavors. Recipes are mingled by hand to create Four Roses Bourbon: six are mingled for Four Roses Small Batch Select Bourbon; four are mingled for Four Roses Small Batch Bourbon; and one recipe is hand-selected for Four Roses Single Barrel Bourbon.
