The third annual Small State Great Beer festival took place at Constitution Plaza in downtown Hartford on September 15. Two sessions of the festival enabled guests sampling opportunities from over 45 Connecticut-based and regional breweries and distilleries. Live music was provided by RJD2, Son Little, Balkun Brothers and Connie Carmona. Guests enjoyed options from an entire street of food trucks, including Baba Ghanoush, Bear’s Restaurant, Chief Brody’s Banh Mi, Craftbird Food Truck, Hartford Baking Co., Iron & Grain Co., NoRA Cupcake Company, The Celiac Epicurean and The Whey Station. A portion of the proceeds benefited the iQuilt Partnership, a nonprofit urban design project plan for downtown Hartford.
