Stamford’s Harbor Point Hosts Drumshanbo Gin Bar

By September 26, 2022Connecticut, Top News

Stamford’s Harbor Point Wine & Spirits hosted a brand visit and tasting featuring the drive-up bar of Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin on July 29. The mobile bar, which is built into the trunk of a 1987 Bentley, showcases the Drumshanbo brand by touring the country for events and tastings. Guests enjoyed learning about the Drumshanbo spirits line at Harbor Point’s location on Washington Boulevard, led by Philip Orazietti and Skye Orazietti of Palm Bay International. Drumshanbo Gunpowder Irish Gin fuses a range of botanicals and spices from Europe to the far East, with Irish botanicals such as Meadowsweet and from China, gunpowder tea, a slow-dried green tea, contributing a fresh spiciness to the blend. Slow-distilled in medieval copper pots, each bottle is hand-filled and labeled in Drumshanbo, Ireland. The final product shows layers of citrus with subtle spice, tea and a refreshing finish. Distributed in the state by Worldwide Wines, the line also includes Drumshanbo Gunpowder, Drumshanbo Sausage Tree Irish Vodka and Drumshanbo Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey.
