Continuing to pioneer the nationwide effort to promote American single malt whiskey, Denver-based Stranahan’s distillery has released Stranahan’s Sherry Cask. The new bottling developed out of the distillery’s “Snowflake” program, via which Master Distiller Rob Dietrich experiments with cask finishes. This permanent addition is four year-aged Rocky Mountain single malt that was finished in 500-liter Oloroso Sherry barrels, delivering rich flavors of vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate and oak. 94 proof.
