Tito’s Handmade Vodka was the featured ingredient at an Iron Tender Competition on January 12, 2015 at Cask Republic in Stamford. Thirteen teams of bartenders each had 30 minutes to choose from a wide variety of ingredients that included everything from fresh herbs and fruits to candies and gum. The creations were judged by Anthony DeSerio, Jeff Marron, Tim Rykoski, Carl Carrion and Joel Lall. The first-time event was organized by Matt Malloy, Connecticut Representative for Tito’s Handmade Vodka. Participating bar talent came from Valencia Luncheria, Hudson Grille CT, The Cocktail Chemist, Post 154, Paloma, Darien Social, Mama’s Boy Southern Table & Refuge, ZAZA Italian Gastrobar, Mezon Tapas Bar & Restaurant, Baró, Vespa, Neat and Parallel Post.
