Fetzer Vineyards was one of 19 companies to receive the United Nations’ “Momentum for Change” Climate Solutions Award at COP23, the UN Climate Change Conference in November 2017 in Bonn, Germany, marking the third environmental award the company won for the year. The company’s chief operating officer Cindy DeVries joined California Gov. Jerry Brown on a panel about efforts in the United States to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement. The winery, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2018, recently received the Golden State Warrior Award from Ceres’ Business for Innovative Climate and Energy Policy and the Project of the Year honor from Environmental Leader.
