Connecticut Distributors, Inc. (CDI), hosted an education and tasting event for members of the United States Bartenders’ Guild (USBG) Hartford chapter, featuring Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum, at Millwright’s Restaurant and Tavern on November 5, 2019. Trade guests enjoyed specialty craft cocktails mixed by Millwright’s Bar Manager Jamie Oaks made with the showcased rum brand along with food prepared by Chef Tyler Anderson and the Millwright’s kitchen team. Jamie Montesi, Senior District Manager, William Grant & Sons, shared the story of famed sailor-turned-tattoo-artist Norman “Sailor Jerry” Collins, the Caribbean blended rum’s namesake.
