From West Charleston, Vermont, Ice Cider is a “sweet yet sophisticated dessert wine” made from apples and concentrated by natural northern winter cold. Albert and Eleanor Leger started Eden Orchards and Eden Ice Cider Company in 2007. Located on a former abandoned dairy farm, the business currently consists of 1,000 apple trees, a small pressing operation and bonded winery in the basement of the rebuilt farmhouse. Eden is one of the first producers licensed to make Ice Cider in the United States and is recognized as “one of the best” ice cider producers. Three major varieties are available with DoValle Wines: Northern Spy Barrel Aged, Heirloom Blend and Orleans aperitif cider. SRP $27.99 – $31.99
